About the Club
Lochland Country Club is known for its beautiful golf course designed by noted Chicago golf architect, David Gill. The first nine holes were completed and opened for play in 1962. Legendary golf professional and teacher, Harry Obitz, witnessed the courses' popularity and in 1965 he oversaw the completion of the second nine holes.
Lochland's current Clubhouse was rebuilt in 2001 making this new facility the best venue for dining, events and professional meetings in the community. With a variety of rooms within the facility, Lochland's Clubhouse is perfect for both members and non-member events.
Tennis was first brought to Lochland Country Club in the early 1960s when ground was broken for the first ever Lochland tennis courts. Since then Lochland tennis has grown into a mature program set with lessons, leagues and tournaments.
The Lochland swimming pool is a great place for swimming lessons, wedding rehearsal dinners or just a relaxing summer afternoon. The swimming pool is accompanied by the Pool Cafe with full menu and drink service, locker rooms, a baby pool for those 6 years and under, and a splash area with fun water features for the kids.
