When can I use the Simulator?
The simulator will open for tee-times starting Oct. 8, 2019, and run through the winter. Private overview sessions with our Pros can be booked the week of Oct. 1 by calling 402-462-8783. Official last day of use is dependent on weather, and will be shared in the spring as it gets closer. General hours of operation are below.
How much does it cost?
For groups of four or less, it is $25 per hour. For five or more players, it is $40 per hour. We welcome accompanied guests, though there is an additional $10 per hour for each non-member.
We recommend about 1.5-2 hours for groups of two playing 9-holes, for a group of four playing 18-holes, about 3.5-4 hours.
What is the guest policy for indoor golf?
Similar to the General Golf Policy, there will be four rounds per guest limit to Indoor Golf. So, guests would be about to play Lochland eight times per year – four inside, and four outside.
What about Social Members?
We see the simulator as a great opportunity for Social Members to get comfortable trying out golf in a “private” scenario. Social Members will be allowed four rounds of indoor golf play, in addition to the four rounds of outside play.
How do I make Tee-Times?
While we perfect the process of the new facility, we require all tee-times be set by calling the Golf Shop at least 30 minutes in advance and during their business hours (402-462-8783). Tee-times can be made a week in advance and are set in 30 minute intervals. Walk-ins are not allowed. While there is not limited to a maximum amount of time, you will be billed for the entire duration of your tee-time.
What services will be available?
Lochland’s regular dining menus will be available, as well as bar service. Those who have purchased Annual Club Storage Services will have their clubs ready at the simulator for your tee time. Lessons and club fittings with our Pros are also available at the normal rates.
Can larger groups and events use the simulator?
The new space can hold approximately 7-8 people comfortably. For the initial launch, reservations are limited to members-only, with the potential for outside businesses to rent the space for events, as availability allows. We want to ensure our members are the top priority and have access to the new equipment!
If you are a member and want to host a “larger event” (more than 4-5 players), call the Golf Shop to discuss making tee-times for the appropriate length.
How do I get there?
There are a couple options to access the pool cafe during the winter. You may exit the clubhouse from the south-facing patio, and walk near the putting green to get to the back-side of the Pool Cafe.
You may also enter through the white employee gate on the east side of the clubhouse.
For the initial few months, staff will ready Pool Café, based on planned Tee-Times. No check in at the Golf Shop or Clubhouse is needed.
